Mekong Youth Education and Development Project
The Mekong Minority Foundation is a Christian organization committed to sustainable development, with a primary focus on human resource development. A key aspect of this mission is the development of children and youth, encompassing physical, intellectual, and spiritual growth. Recognizing this need, the foundation established the Children and Youth Development Project to support education, life skills, and spiritual growth, ensuring that young people develop their potential and contribute to their local communities.
Currently, the project is supported by three scholarship funds:
Scholarship Funds
- Milagros Scholarship Program
- Supports education, skills training, and discipleship.
- Focuses on developing new leaders.
- Available for students pursuing vocational training, diploma programs, and higher education.
- STEP Scholarship Fund
- Provides high school and higher education scholarships.
- Targets financially disadvantaged and orphaned children.
- BCGH Scholarship Fund
- Sponsored by the Bangkok Christian Guest House.
- Support students in Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar.
Ultimate Goal
To equip tribal youth with education and leadership skills, enabling them to become strong disciples of Jesus Christ, understand God’s calling, and serve their communities with passion and purpose.
